Act 11 Reunion - Endymion -

Usagi is drawn to a handsome stranger she takes for Mamoru Chiba, while the other four Guardians pore over the mysterious blade recovered from the Moon Kingdom and sift through their reawakening memories of once shielding their queen and princess.

The stranger is in truth Endymion, who appears outside the Game Center Crown, erases Motoki's real friend Endou, and hypnotizes Motoki into accepting him under that name. Posing as Endou, he lingers at the arcade, tears through the Sailor V game to catch the Guardians' attention, and quietly probes Usagi about Sailor Moon, Sailor V, and any hidden command center beneath the building. Reika's admission that she has only just met this Endou tips the Guardians off to his real aim of breaching their control room.

The infiltration comes to a head when a hypnotized Makoto tries to wrest the Silver Crystal from Usagi and Minako intervenes, exposing the intruders as Tuxedo Mask and a controlled Motoki. Minako's chain snaps Motoki free, but Tuxedo Mask seizes the crystal by force. Usagi cannot bring herself to fight him until Luna is hurt, at which point her fear channels through the crystal into Moon Healing Escalation. The attempt fails, and Queen Beryl emerges behind Tuxedo Mask, naming herself ruler of the Dark Kingdom and ordering him to kill Sailor Moon.

This eleventh chapter of the Dark Kingdom arc was written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi. As they examine the sword taken from the moon, the Guardians find it denser than diamond and laced with a poisonous quality, and they puzzle over how such a weapon might rid them of the evil once and for all.
