Act 32 Infinity 6 Three Guardians

The Outer Guardians explain the real nature of their duty to the others. Meanwhile Kaolinite dispatches Cyprine, the last of the Witches 5, to strike at the guardians and seize the Holy Grail.

With Pluto now standing beside Neptune and Uranus, Sailor Moon shifts into Princess Serenity, and the three Outer Guardians introduce themselves as protectors of the outer Solar System. They recount how they had shielded the system from afar since the Silver Millennium, only to find the Death Busters already entrenched when they were reborn in the present. Their duty, they insist, is theirs alone, and when asked about the talismans, they name their true foe only as the Goddess of Destruction. Further research reveals Professor Tomoe's deep ties to the academy, his work on superhumans, and the fire that killed his wife and gravely injured his young daughter Hotaru.

Kaolinite learns from Pharaoh 90 that the Taioron Crystal is weakening, so they now crave the infinite power sensed in the Silver Crystal, and she sends Cyprine to kill the guardians and take the grail. Chibiusa's visit to Hotaru ends badly when she glimpses the girl's mechanical arms and flees, and the wounded Hotaru discards the Taioron Crystal, drawing the Outer Guardians' suspicion that she may be the Goddess of Destruction. As storms and hail lash Tokyo, Cyprine ambushes Haruka, and Neptune and Pluto rush in. When the Inner Guardians arrive amid spreading riots, Cyprine turns the two teams against each other, splitting into a twin named Ptilol to dodge Sailor Moon's attack. Chibi Moon and Tuxedo Mask try to break the infighting and are struck as well, until Sailor Moon fuses her power with theirs and the Holy Grail takes shape.

The chapter debuts Ptilol and the Ribbon Buster attack, and it marks the first appearance of the Holy Grail.
