Act 59 Stars 10

This installment stands as the 59th chapter of the Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon manga and the tenth entry within its closing Stars storyline, produced by creator Naoko Takeuchi. Eternal Sailor Moon trades blows with Sailor Galaxia in a duel that steadily draws her toward the Galaxy Cauldron at the center of the galaxy. Once there, Galaxia channels the immense Garden Crystal to rouse Chaos, the primordial evil, which promptly fuses itself with the Cauldron. Alarmed by the mounting danger, Chibi Chibi urges Usagi toward a drastic remedy, wiping out both herself and the foe permanently.

Galaxia baits her opponent into the birthplace of all star seeds and revives Chaos using the might of the Garden Crystal. The reawakened evil bonds straight into the Cauldron, raising the stakes for the whole universe. Chibi Chibi's appeal that Usagi give up her own life to end the threat sets the stage for the finale. The chapter also debuts Sailor Cosmos and introduces two techniques, Galactica Inflation and Galactica Super String.

Sailor Galaxia features as the chapter's central antagonist. The act falls between Act 58 Stars 9 and the series closer, Act 60 Stars 11. Being late in the run, the entry remains brief and largely advances the buildup to the final confrontation.
