Hana Sakamoto
CharacterHana Sakamoto is the young daughter of the retired hitman Taro Sakamoto and his wife Aoi. A cheerful elementary schooler born after her father left the assassin trade, she brightens the family shop while staying largely unaware of the deadly world around her.
Appearance
Hana is a small girl with short black hair that falls loosely and mostly hides her forehead. Early in the story, when she was younger, she kept it shorter in a pair of pigtails and favored dresses; by the age of six she had switched to wearing t-shirts.
Personality
Sweet-natured and quick to smile, Hana is a joyful child who takes the world lightly. Much of what unfolds around her passes over her head, since she is still too young to grasp the danger her family lives with.
History
Little is documented about Hana's past. She was born after Taro walked away from killing for a living, a retirement that put him on the JAA's wanted list, and she shares a close, mutual devotion with her father; a threat to the family from Kei Uzuki was enough to rouse a killing rage in him. Though only six and still in elementary school, she shows a trace of his inherited strength, hauling a broken-down Kashima on her back to get him repaired.
