Obiguro wears her dark purple hair cropped into a rounded bowl shape that frames wide black eyes. Tinted orange sunglasses set in lime-green frames rest on her face, and a choker rings her neck. Her outfit mixes a strapless red crop top with a pinstriped charcoal blazer, zippered black shorts, and crimson heels, while a small crescent moon is inked just below her right collarbone. In the manga she also sports a navel piercing, a detail dropped from the anime.

Living for excitement, Obiguro delights in pushing rivals to unleash everything they have, sparing Lu Shaotang and Shin an instant death simply because a quick kill bored her. In place of that she imposed a game that demanded Lu strike her at set intervals or forfeit Shin's life. Teasing and banter come easily to her, and her playful streak runs to pinning Tatsu down and sitting on his back. Alongside Boiled she is relaxed and familiar, needling him about the way he exercises under stress, yet she startles at his raised voice while quietly admiring his forcefulness and his refusal to harm anyone but a target.

At thirteen Obiguro entered the JCC alongside Sakamoto, Yoichi Nagumo, and Boiled, already nursing a crush on the last of them that she was too timid to voice. In later years she and Boiled signed on with the Dondenkai agency and climbed swiftly, earning the label of the outfit's powerhouse pair after slaughtering more than two hundred victims two years before the story opens, a bloodbath remembered as the Ronriko Incident. Her physical might is considerable; she once drove a karate heel strike into Lu with force enough to crack the floor apart.
