Wutang, a senior figure of the Lu family who has doted on Lu since she was small, sets out to win her back for the organization. He dangles a valuable lure, details about whoever placed the bounty on Sakamoto, and uses it to talk the group into a contest. Billed as a mafia-style gamble, the confrontation drags Sakamoto and his friends into a hidden casino, where they square off against an opponent who thrives on games of the mind in a deadly serious round of wagering.

As the casino duel plays out, another threat moves in the background. Slur, the killer of killers behind the X mark, sends a new assassin after Sakamoto and his companions, seeding danger that reaches beyond the gambling table.

Wutang leverages knowledge of Sakamoto's bounty to force a gamble aimed at reclaiming Lu for the family.

Serving as the eleventh episode and the finale of the anime's first part, it sits within the Death Row Prisoners Arc and adapts Chapters 35 through 37. It aired on March 22, 2025, with Hashire Sakamoto and Futsū as its opening and ending themes.

Numerous differences set the adaptation apart from the manga, including reworked casino sequences, altered card and roulette moments, and changes to how the mafia turns on Wutang's table. The anime also trims several reactions and small exchanges present in the original pages and shifts the layout of the facility holding the four death row prisoners.
