Learning the escapees were only bait, Sakamoto races to the assassin association as Slur's forces storm it. Amid Gaku's rampage and Takamura's arrival, Sakamoto finally sees the face behind the killer X.
From Apart, Sakamoto learns the truth: the loosed convicts were merely a lure to pull ORDER away, and Slur's real target is the destruction of the JAA. He and his companions rush toward the association, but the raid on its Kanto branch is already under way. Gaku cuts down the branch's hitmen one after another, and ORDER's phantom swordsman Takamura turns up in the middle of the assault. Pushing into the building, Sakamoto comes face to face with the mastermind he has chased for years and is shaken by who X truly is.
The raid introduces branch staff Takebe, Inoda, and Uda, and Rion Akao is first referenced. Gaku slaughters office workers floor by floor before clashing with the JAA's fighters. Sakamoto, Shin, and Apart force their way inside, where Uzuki reveals himself, stabs Sakamoto, and trades blows with him until Gaku interrupts. When Uda detonates a bomb, Sakamoto shields Shin with his apron. Later, recovering in a hospital room, Sakamoto is attacked by Hyo, who batters him through the walls while probing his ties to Uzuki.
The adaptation dwells at length on the carnage of Gaku's attack, adding showers of blood, falling bodies, and a bloodstained monitor absent from the page. It also expands the Sakamoto and Uzuki confrontation, staging Uzuki's movements through the reflection in Sakamoto's glasses. This installment spans two story arcs, closing the Death Row Prisoners Arc and opening the JCC Transfer Exams Arc. Slice Slice Dance adapts chapters 51 through 55, aired on August 11, 2025, and carries the theme songs Method and Dandelion.
