X's Organization

Standing as the main opposing force in the manga, X's Organization is a collective of renegade killers with one blunt goal: the total destruction of the Japanese Association of Assassins. Its motives for this crusade remain unexplained. The group traces back to Uzuki and a core of children who grew up together at the Al-Kamar Orphanage, though exactly when it coalesced is not known. Over time it expanded by drawing in fresh recruits, some willing and some pressed into service, all in support of that overarching aim.

The organization's driving mission is to dismantle the JAA outright, and its members have cut down dozens of association assassins in the pursuit, described as striking while the iron is hot. Its founding grew directly out of Uzuki's assault on the Al-Kamar Orphanage, where he killed the staff and the JAA guards stationed there and set the place ablaze before escaping with a small band of survivors. From there the group carried out a series of strikes, seeding undercover agents inside the JAA, seizing part of a research lab, kidnapping recruits, and eventually mounting a large scale attack during the Assassin Exhibition of the Century, where Uzuki moved to kill his own brother, the chairman.

Uzuki leads the group, with active members including Kanaguri, Kumanomi, Torres, and Tanabata, alongside figures whose standing is murkier such as Kashima and Tenkyu. The original escapees from Al-Kamar, Gaku, Haruma, Kumanomi, Gozu, and Tenkyu, formed the founding core. A long roster of former members has since quit or been killed, among them Natsuki Seba and Tanaka, who left to open a crepe shop, along with Mafuyu Seba, Nao Toramaru, Onigahara, Takamido, and the serial killers Saw, Dump, and Minimalist.
