Chapter 134: The End

Nagumo tours the Okutabi New National Museum of Art and sits in on a briefing about the safeguards meant to keep everyone secure. The museum boasts one of the strongest systems around, packed with the latest technology, and insists that only ticket holders whose identities are fully confirmed can reach the exhibit, leaving Nagumo to puzzle over how Sakamoto could ever slip inside.

Sakamoto, Shin, and Amane try for an exhibitor's pass and are turned down twice over: the museum takes no last-minute exhibitors, and someone has already entered Sakamoto's own gun. Amane finds that the submission came from a party calling itself The End, raising the suspicion that someone is sabotaging their scheme on purpose.

Wutang then learns that exhibit tickets are moving on the black market. Sakamoto joins the auction, The End bids against him, and Sakamoto ultimately wins the ticket. The moment sours when a bullet punches into Wutang's laptop, the work of Kamihate, who has taken up a sniper's post to derail Sakamoto's plans.

Sakamoto's straightforward routes into the museum are blocked, and a mysterious rival named The End hijacks his submitted gun and bids against him. He still lands an exhibit ticket through the black market, only for Kamihate to open fire on Wutang's laptop, announcing a fresh obstacle by sniper.

The chapter carries the Assassin Exhibition of the Century Arc into Volume 16, running nineteen pages on September 11, 2023, in issue 41. It introduces the enigmatic The End and puts Kamihate into active play as a sniper. Nagumo, Shin, Sakamoto, Amane, and Kamihate appear, with Yasui, Uzuki, and Lu Wutang referenced; Yasui debuts here by mention. The cover shows Nagumo beside an unnamed exhibition worker.
