The two keep on the move as they trade fire, drifting until they arrive at a set of railway tracks. There Heisuke sets up a bluff on Kamihate, who is right on his tail, making it look as though he plans to bounce a round off a passing train. In truth he fires straight back behind himself, yet the shot misses, and when he spins to see how his rival slipped it, he is left astonished.

Kamihate attempts to electrocute Heisuke using water and a live wire with a single bullet. Piisuke intervenes and breaks up the trap. Heisuke surprises Kamihate by altering the path of his shots instead of using predictable ricochets. The duel moves to railway tracks, where Heisuke fakes a train bounce and fires directly behind him. The shot misses, and Heisuke is amazed by how Kamihate evaded it.

The chapter emphasizes the constant movement of the duel despite both combatants being snipers. Sakamoto appears only in a flashback. It belongs to Volume 16 and features Heisuke, Kamihate, and Piisuke.
