Short of stature, Ishida wore her orange hair in a bob and looked out through brown eyes. Her introduction had her in casual clothes, a black hoodie thrown over a gray undershirt. When the Jeju Island raid got underway, she changed into the black combat gear that doubled as her guild's standard kit.

Little direct insight into Ishida's character comes through in the source, which keeps its attention on her place within the Japanese raid contingent. Belonging to the Draw Sword Guild, she worked beside hunters such as Goto Ryuji and Minoru Hoshino, and even though her billing was that of a damage dealer, she sat out the pre-raid sparring, choosing to watch from the edge while teammates traded blows.

With the fourth Jeju Island raid four days off, Ishida assembled at the Korean Hunters Gym alongside the others of the raid party, observing the bouts rather than entering them. Out on the island she drew Team Alpha together with Goto and Hoshino. After Teams Charlie and Delta fell silent over the radio, the three went searching and stumbled onto their headless remains across the island. Matsumoto Shigeo, untouched by the deaths, told them to flee and leave the Korean team to its fate. Before any retreat could happen, the Ant King lunged from behind and severed Ishida's head in a single strike.
