Cline Hall

Each academic year at Eden Academy is divided into eight halls that structure classes and dormitory life alike. Cline holds the second position in the numbered list, sitting between Specter Hall and Cecile Hall. Its members span multiple grade levels, from primary school first-years through middle schoolers.

Murdoch Swan leads the hall as housemaster while teaching economics, with Matron Persil serving as its dorm advisor. Behind the Cline dormitories stands the Old Schoolhouse, an abandoned building that students are barred from entering under threat of harsh discipline, though upper-level Cline residents supposedly know a hidden route inside. The structure features in Eden's "Seven Wonders" as the site of a legend involving a supposed devil ritual. It is eventually revealed that Swan and his co-conspirators operated out of the building while running a corrupt admissions scheme.

Demetrius Desmond, the elder Desmond son and a current Imperial Scholar, boards in the Cline dormitory and belongs to the hall's middle school second-year class along with Ben Bernard. In the primary school first year, Cline corresponds to Class 2, whose known students are Arnold Crowley, Lucy Garrett, and Thomas Becker.
