At the hospital, Fiona studies the softened, family-shaped Twilight with a mix of heartache and adoration, more determined than ever to claim the wife role. Her briefing lays out the mission: obtain Lady in the Sun, a painting worth roughly a million dalc, once owned by the late Colonel Erik Zacharis of Eastern military intelligence. Legend says Zacharis kept documents capable of restarting the war, covering human experimentation in the East and prisoner massacres by the West, and that the painting points to their hiding place. Since Campbell's vault sits under a heavily guarded mansion, Fiona's plan avoids theft entirely: the Campbelldon, his underground tennis tournament, lets the champion claim any piece from his collection.

Introduced under the cover names Twain and Nafalia Foney, the pair open against Walson and Bobble, a duo that once ruled the Grand Slam circuit. Loid's first service game ends without conceding a point, and Fiona, eager to demonstrate her value, finishes the rout single-handedly in a storm of flamboyant shots, privately dreaming that Loid will beg her for a lifelong doubles partnership. Upstairs, Campbell's circle arranges a trial run of Oso-R, an experimental drug that transforms the scrawny Bolic Brothers into slabs of muscle. Their insults toward Loid snap Fiona's composure, and she batters them off the court without mercy.

Across town, Yor plays tennis in the park with Anya and Bond while dark thoughts circle: is Fiona at that tournament with Loid, and what would their closeness mean for her? Anya, listening in telepathically, blurts reassurance and covers the slip by predicting that Loid will bring home a trophy, restoring her mother's smile.

Before the final, a butler parks the Foneys in a waiting room that begins filling with performance-sapping gas, courtesy of the host, who has bet ten million on his children. Communicating in Morse code, the agents minimize their breathing until match time. Their opponents, high schoolers Carrol and Kim Campbell, take the first set using a rocket-boosted racket and a whip racket. As the drugged air wears off, the Foneys rally, prompting the twins to trigger sinking floor tiles wired throughout the court. Loid announces that no gimmick will beat them, and Fiona, seeing again the Twilight she fell for, joins him at the net with a silent declaration of love and a promise to crush the twins together.

The Zacharis Dossier is introduced: rumored wartime secrets tied to the painting Lady in the Sun, now in Cavi Campbell's collection.

Loid and Fiona infiltrate the Campbelldon as the married Foneys, defeating the ex-pro duo Walson and Bobble and the drug-enhanced Bolic Brothers.

Cavi Campbell gasses the finalists' waiting room after betting heavily on his children, Carrol and Kim.

The final begins with the twins ahead on gadget rackets and a booby-trapped court, ending the episode on a cliffhanger.

The episode adapts Chapters 31 and 32 of the Campbelldon Tennis Arc and premiered in Japan on December 3, 2022.

An anime-original scene shows the Bolic Brothers winning their earlier match, and the flashback of the family's tennis practice runs longer than in the manga. Daybreak's cameo, present in the source material, is expanded so that Nightfall's serve visibly flattens him.
