Yor drifts home mumbling about being tossed aside, and the eavesdropping neighbors decide Loid must be cheating. Overhearing their gossip, Loid grasps the danger: if Yor's suspicions about Fiona ever reach her SSS brother, Twilight's capture stops being hypothetical. He pays Franky to watch Anya and Bond and takes Yor to a bar. There she concludes the invitation exists to dismiss her, resolves to withdraw from the sham marriage for his happiness, and chugs both their drinks for courage. The alcohol reroutes her instead into demanding whether he loves Fiona, cataloging her own failings, and sulking that he once called her pretty. Loid diagnoses jealousy, infers romantic feelings, and switches into Twilight mode within a tenth of a second to spring a honey trap. He clasps her hands and gets as far as almost proposing a real marriage before a scarlet-faced Yor launches him into the air with a kick. He sticks the landing, wobbles, interprets the blow as rejection, and passes out.

He wakes on Yor's lap in a park, her voice carrying a lullaby his own mother sang during the war. Yor apologizes, lamenting that brute strength is all she has. Loid answers with a rare piece of his past: his mother's strength made him feel safe even in wartime, and Yor gives Anya exactly that security. Agents of the state bleed to rebuild the world, he thinks, and this woman achieved something comparable alone, raising Yuri from childhood. He asks her to remain Anya's mother and to stay on as his wife, and she tearfully agrees. The next morning Yor remembers none of it, and the entire conversation has to be replayed from the top, swollen chin and all.

In the second half, with the Imperial Scholar mixer approaching, Anya despairs of ever collecting eight Stellas and returns to Plan B, winning Damian over, an effort going nowhere. Becky prescribes fashion: dress cute and the boy falls. Bankrolled by a wad of cash from Loid, who sees strategic value in courting the Blackbell family, the girls hit a shopping center where Becky has reserved an entire boutique. Anya models outfit after outfit, Becky panic-buys a mountain of clothes upon realizing Loid might attend a term-end party, and butler Martha disappears behind stacked boxes. What Anya finally purchases is a pair of cheap sheep-mascot keychains, one for each of them, as proof of surviving her first shopping trip with a friend. The word "friend" visibly moves Becky, and Martha, recalling the spoiled preschooler who once sneered at Eden's ill-bred children, quietly celebrates how far her charge has come. At school, the sight of the two girls laughing over matching keychains stops Damian in his tracks, a reaction he refuses to explain.

Loid's honey trap on a drunk, jealous Yor collapses when she kicks him unconscious before he can propose making the marriage real.

Loid shares memories of his mother for the first time and affirms Yor as irreplaceable, both as Anya's mother and as his wife; Yor forgets everything by morning.

Becky and Anya's department store outing ends with matching sheep keychains and Becky moved by being called a friend.

Martha's flashback traces Becky's growth from a bratty preschooler to a girl transformed by Anya's friendship, while Damian catches himself staring at the smiling pair.

The first half adapts Chapter 35, concluding the Campbelldon Tennis Arc, while the second adapts Chapter 36 and opens the Imperial Scholars Mixer Arc. The episode aired in Japan on December 17, 2022.

The bar is deliberately the same one Franky and Loid visited in Episode 16, down to the identical seats. The insert song "Lullaby," a remix of the soundtrack piece "As a mother. As a wife.," underscores both the flashback and Yor's singing, and "GOOD DAY" plays over Anya's outfit montage. When Anya lists the things she loves, Bond goes unmentioned, and Byron Blackbell's reaction during Martha's flashback is cut from the anime.
