Episode 35

Princess Lorelei docks at the resort island, where a bouncing Anya coaxes a stiff, SSS-wary Loid into acting like a playful father just before Yor rejoins them, explaining away her swollen face. The reunited family burns through the island's offerings: the town, a zip-line, a tandem bike, caves, horses, a giant swing, and the beach. Watching Anya romp with a flock of sheep, Yor wishes this calm could last forever and quietly recommits to her assassin work as the price of preserving it. A snorkeling poster nearly founders on Yor's fear of exposing her fresh chest wound in a swimsuit, until rental rash guards solve the problem and the three drift over the reef together. Surfing goes less smoothly; Yor forgets to moderate her strength and launches Anya airborne, forcing Loid into a catch. On the walk back, exhaustion finally claims Yor mid-step, then Anya, leaving a mortified Loid carrying them both and privately admiring how hard his wife pushed herself to be there.

After the voyage, Loid debriefs with Sylvia: numerous passengers vanished from the manifest, many traveling on forged passports, and the bombs appear designed to ignite conflict between Westalis and Ostania. The SSS suspects a third party and will likely bury the incident to save face, so Loid is ordered to monitor Ostanian extremists for threats to Operation Strix. Asked about his vacation, he admits it drained him more than his missions.

The second story follows the fallout at school and work. Yor's souvenir skeleton keychains underwhelm her coworkers, Yuri celebrates his sister's return, and Loid dusts off the lovey-dovey marriage set for the inevitable visit. At Eden, Anya's boast about sailing on Ostania's grandest liner deflates instantly: Becky has already cruised on the same ship in the Imperial Suite, and classmates snicker at Anya's third-class "prison cell." Grasping for attention, she embellishes the trip with foreign villains, then, cornered by the fact that no attack made the news, invents undersea enemies called the Octopeople. The class erupts in laughter. Becky later comforts her, George warns her off habitual lying, and at home three accomplished liars, Loid, Yuri, and Yor, fumble through hypocritical lectures until Anya concludes that being a liar looks exhausting.

The Forgers spend a full family day on the resort island, and Yor internally chooses to remain the Thorn Princess to safeguard their peace. Loid carries both sleeping girls back to the ship, acknowledging Yor's effort. Sylvia's debrief reveals the fake-passport passengers and a suspected scheme to spark an East-West war, with the SSS covering the incident up. Anya's classroom bragging backfires against Becky's Imperial Suite stay and spirals into the Octopeople fabrication, ending in class-wide ridicule and a half-hearted family lesson about honesty.

Part A adapts Chapter 56 and part B adapts Chapter 57. The insert song "uneven fruit" accompanies the island montage. Added material includes a café stop, an island map, the horses' introduction, and extended departure shots, while part B opens with anime-only scenes of the keychain souvenirs, Yuri's locker celebration, and Loid preparing the marriage set from Episode 8.
