Eden Academy honors Anya, Becky, Damian, and Bill with Stella Stars for their conduct during the bus crisis. Becky's dreams of newspaper interviews evaporate when Henderson explains the school refused all press and the authorities have barred public discussion, though he privately marvels that every student came home unhurt. A flashback returns to the night itself: collars removed, the blackout lifted, and guardians summoned one by one. Becky falls weeping into her father's arms, dorm students receive overnight passes, and eventually only Anya and Damian remain. Damian awkwardly credits Anya's bravery and apologizes for how he has treated her; she calls him a hero for trying to shield her. The warm moment collapses when Anya pushes too fast for a family introduction and Damian sees through her, admitting bitterly that he barely sees his own family anyway.

Yor sprints in and crushes Anya in a hug, finally letting the girl cry out the fear she had bottled up. Loid observes from within the SSS strike team he infiltrated after rushing back, relieved the crisis resolved without exposing him, and silently plans a celebratory dinner that Anya gleefully overhears. When Melinda arrives for Damian, the reunion looks tender until he begs her not to tell Donovan he cried; her manner wavers, and Anya reads a disturbing blend of love and deep resentment running beneath her thoughts.

Back in the present, Anya's swagger over her second Stella convinces Loid she is masking trauma, so he hovers, drives her to school, and finds nothing but her usual self. Her cryptic question about whether parents at the pickup got along, really about Melinda, reads to him as a grievance that no one collected her, and his guilty thoughts earn her a promised cake. At school, Damian learns from the butler Jeeves that Melinda personally cooked the dinner he ate alone. Basking in schoolwide admiration, the self-styled Double Starlight Anya dreams of accumulating friends until she can conquer the world, then pivots her scheme: rather than infiltrating the Desmond estate, she will invite Damian to her home so he can grow strong for Melinda, ideally with Donovan in tow. Her exaggerated boasts about her family's power nearly backfire before Becky mentions Yor's training, thrilling the crowd. Damian warns everyone off Anya, insults fly, Anya bursts into tears, and a flustered Damian apologizes with a cake bribe, insisting that offering the apology makes him the stronger man. The two bicker themselves late to class.

Anya earns her second Stella Star, with Becky, Damian, and Bill each decorated as well, and her new celebrity spawns the Double Starlight persona and a revised B Plan aimed at drawing Damian, and eventually Donovan, to the Forger home.

Anya's read of Melinda's mind reveals affection for Damian tangled with unsettling resentment, the series' clearest sign yet that something is broken inside the Desmond family. Jeeves debuts and discloses that Melinda cooked Damian's meal herself.

Damian and Anya reach a fragile new understanding, trading genuine praise and apologies before sliding straight back into their bickering rhythm.

The episode adapts Chapters 75 and 76. The insert song Bus Stop plays over the students leaving with their families.

Among the anime's alterations: Mr. Green loses the head bandage he wears in the manga, comic-style bubbles replace a mushroom cloud in Anya's scheme fantasy, her world-domination daydream shows her looming over the planet, a full visualization of Yor's cooking is added, and the faces of Emile's father and Ewen's mother stay hidden. A line asking whether Anya is a peasant is dropped, while she and Damian trade extra insults as their classmates walk ahead.
