The elderly patient was a long-term resident of a hospital run by the Tsukiyama Group. A wealthy man of ninety-four abandoned by his family, he became the target of both his abusive nurse and the gourmet ghoul Shuu Tsukiyama, who prized the rare flesh of the very old.
He was a man well advanced in years, his hair gone white.
What he was truly like remains a mystery, since dementia and other conditions of old age had taken hold of him. He had earned a reputation for groping the female staff and passing it off as innocent fun, and his failing memory left him forgetting even significant events.
Shuu Tsukiyama and Chie Hori first observed him as he interacted with his nurse, watching him grope her while Tsukiyama explained that the man was given to such behavior and would soon forget it thanks to his poor health. That evening Chie slipped into his private room to await Tsukiyama, and from its luxury and the costly gift baskets left to rot she gathered that he was a rich man cast off by his relatives. Hidden beneath the bed, she watched the same nurse eat the sweets meant for him, then beat him with her slipper and hurl insults at him.
Tsukiyama interrupted the scene, arriving to feast on the uncommon flesh of a man past ninety. As he tore into the old man's body, the patient woke, tumbled from the bed pleading for his nurse's help, and was kicked aside and hurt further. Once the ghoul and Chie had gone, the old man roused himself and threatened to expose the nurse's abuse. Chie later recounted how the nurse murdered him and pinned the killing on an unknown ghoul, recasting herself as a heroine who had fought to protect her patient and using the death to win the affection of a doctor at the hospital.

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
