A senior operative within the secretive group V, Kaiko was born a half-human and brought up in the Sunlit Garden. Once the teacher of Kishou Arima, he stands among the masterminds of Dragon, the disaster that spreads ghoulification through Tokyo, and he ultimately turns into a full ghoul before falling in combat.
An enigmatic presence, Kaiko was bald with eyes that seemed to hold no irises and lips of a deep black. Like every member of V he kept a black hat on constantly, and beneath a long black overcoat he wore a formal suit, his hands hidden away in dark gloves.
Beyond his steadfast loyalty to V, little of the man was ever exposed. He had marked Eto and the Aogiri Tree for threatening the uneasy equilibrium between ghouls and humans. A stickler for poise and manners, he dressed down Furuta over crude speech yet gave way to Arima's measured briefings.
Kaiko grew up inside the Sunlit Garden, a half-human who tutored the young Kishou Arima and had known Yoshimura before that man walked out on V. Just before the Owl Suppression Operation, he approached Yoshimura offering a final path back into the fold, conditional on surrendering Eto and pledging fealty; the refusal earned only a cold instruction to go and die. He fielded reports from Arima and Furuta about Eto, joined Uta and Donato Porpora in slaying Chairman Tsuneyoshi Washuu, and in the Clown Siege carved apart Matsuri Washuu, brushing the Washuu line off as a lasting thorn in V's side.
During the Dragon crisis Kaiko took the field against the CCG and jeered at Yusa Arima about having trained Kishou, only for Yusa to cleave his face open. The wound healed at once, proof that he had taken in Dragon's toxin, which he hailed as a blessing that finished his shift into a full ghoul. His half-human body had once traded a shortened lifespan for greater physical power; as a ghoul he now gained a tail-like kagune, swift regeneration, and formidable swordsmanship, and he swung an Owl-based quinque forged from Kuzen's kakuhou. He even raised the fallen Koma and Irimi as puppet quinques to strike from a distance. His end came when Eto ripped off his arm and Take Hirako shredded his head to pieces, a striking fate given he was the only half-human the series ever let live past his thirties, said to have reached his sixties.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
During the Dragon crisis, Kaiko took a wound from Yusa Arima that healed instantly, proof he had absorbed Dragon's toxin, which completed his shift from half-human into a full ghoul.
