Keijin Nakarai
CharacterKeijin Nakarai is a First Class investigator and the deputy leader of the CCG's Suzuya Squad in the 13th ward. A skilled swordsman devoted to Juuzou Suzuya, he later serves the Tokyo Security Committee and, in his sterner post-war role, earns the nickname demon Nakarai.

Nakarai is a short young man whose light blond hair is combed into a tidy center part above a pair of large, dark eyes.
Personality
He takes care to show Suzuya only his best side, comically pinning the blame on his fellow squad members in the omake. Away from his superiors, though, he can be sharp-tongued, once dismissing Abara as a hulking weakling for falling ill.
History
Nakarai took part in the Auction Mopping-up Operation with his team, helping to subdue the SS-rated Big Madam in the venue's storage area. On Rushima he joined the squad in exterminating ghouls, and during Juuzou's duel with Kurona he and the others severed her arms from behind, mocking her claim to have killed their leader. In the years that follow he handles TSC duties as deputy dragon general, backing Suzuya until injuries from the fight with Shikorae push him off the front line. He then becomes the academy's supervisor under headmaster Kiyoko Aura, where his fearsome reputation earns him the label demon Nakarai. Swordsmanship is his standout skill, sharp enough to parry and cut a kakuja like Kurona, and he wields the paired koukaku quinque known as Right and Left.
