Kobachi worked as an editor for Shoueisha's food publication Tokyo Gourmet. Lured to the Ghoul Restaurant while chasing a story, he mistook the grim reveal for theatrical entertainment and became the first victim served up during the establishment's dismantling show.
Kobachi stood at a decent height and kept a fit physique, a result of his regular trips to the gym. His pale hair split down the center of his head and swept toward each side, and a warm, easy grin tended to occupy his features.
Working the food beat left Kobachi well versed in cuisine and dining spots across the city. He carried himself in a light, upbeat manner. That breezy nature showed when the truth surfaced: told alongside Ken Kaneki and Ami that they were the intended meal, he laughed it off, convinced the whole scene was a gimmick staged by some novelty themed eatery.
During the Gourmet arc, Kobachi set out to produce a feature for his magazine and was drawn into the Ghoul Restaurant through Mitarai. Once inside, he was directed to bathe, put on a suit and tie, and wait to be brought before the audience. When the show began, Taro selected him first, carving him apart as the opening act of the dismantling spectacle. His flesh and blood were then presented to the assembled ghouls as a tough little appetizer to enjoy.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
