Mikito Urie

Anyone who knew his son could read Mikito's face at a glance, since the two shared nearly identical features. The clearest way to tell father from son came down to a small detail: Mikito carried just one mole, while Kuki has a matching pair. In effect he looked like the grown, weathered edition of the young investigator.

Colleagues found Mikito dependable and magnetic, qualities that suited his position at the head of the respected S3 Squad. That standing came paired with a willingness to put others first. In his final battle he threw himself at the One-Eyed Owl on purpose, buying his subordinates the seconds they needed to fall back to safety.

One of Mikito's notable achievements was the capture of the ghoul Donato Porpora, an arrest that eventually turned the prisoner into an informant held within Cochlea. His career ended during a confrontation with the One-Eyed Owl, where he chose to grapple with the creature so his squad could withdraw. He was slain in that effort, and his death mirrored the sacrifice of Kasuka Mado, who similarly held the Owl off to protect fellow investigators.
