Rize Kamishiro is the ravenous ghoul whose bite sets all of Tokyo Ghoul in motion. Nicknamed the Binge Eater, she appears to die in a freak accident, only for her stolen organs to remake Ken Kaneki and her lingering flesh to seed a catastrophe that engulfs the city.
Slim and roughly average in height, Rize cuts a striking hourglass figure. Purple hair reaches her chest with bangs falling to one side, above matching violet eyes, delicate brows, and full lips. Blending in among humans, she favors dresses and adds a pair of red half-frame glasses worn purely for effect rather than any need, while her outfits show enough skin to draw the eye of the men she hunts. She knows exactly how appealing she is and uses it freely. Her later incarnation as Dragon strips all of that away, leaving a pale, marked face and a long fall of white hair.
Rize is greedy, self-reliant, and thoroughly a femme fatale, luring victims who almost never walk away, the rare exception being Kazuichi Banjou. She is a puzzle to those around her, remembered as an alluring mystery, and utterly selfish, indifferent to the hardship her endless eating brings down on other ghouls. With no real ambitions, she simply drifts from ward to ward to stave off boredom. Captivity later hollows her out completely: starved and broken first by Kanou and then by her keepers, she loses her grip on her surroundings and, in a rare flash of vulnerability, cries out for her foster father.
Rize is born in the Sunlit Garden, one of the many illegitimate children of CCG chairman Tsuneyoshi Washuu, raised to serve as a breeding vessel for the clan's bloodline. Repulsed by that future, she flees with help from Souta Washuu-Furuta and is taken in by the ghoul Shachi, whom she comes to treat as a father. Her swelling appetite eventually brings the investigators down on the 6th Ward and gets Shachi captured, after which she wanders freely, killing where she pleases, including the 11th Ward's ghoul leader Hagi.
In the 20th Ward she sets her sights on Ken Kaneki, a shy student who shares her taste in books. A pleasant first date ends with her leading him into a quiet spot and sinking her teeth into him, only for a shower of steel beams to crush her mid-attack. Both are rushed to the hospital, where Doctor Akihiro Kanou declares her beyond saving and quietly transplants her organs into Kaneki, turning him into a one-eyed ghoul, while secretly keeping her body alive for his own research.
Kanou farms her kakuhou to manufacture more one-eyed ghouls until Renji Yomo frees her during the raid on the laboratory and hides her away in a restrained, half-starved state that erodes her mind. Throughout Kaneki's ordeals a version of Rize haunts him, sometimes coaxing out his ghoul instincts, sometimes a grotesque monster lunging to devour him.
Later she resurfaces in the hands of Kichimura Washuu, again mined as a donor, this time to breed the Oggai. Her flesh finally becomes the host of Dragon, the colossal entity whose toxin floods Tokyo and turns countless people into ghouls. Kaneki climbs the creature to its core, where Rize sits fused into it, and kills her through his tears to stop the rampage. Her death collapses Dragon and drags him into the ruin, and as the dark takes him he hears her say she had always been watching over him.
Rize's rinkaku kagune is formidable even by ghoul standards, sprouting as many as six blood-red tentacle claws that slice through flesh with ease and knit back together at an unusual rate, though a heavy enough wound to a vital area, like the beam that broke her waist, can still put her down. As Dragon she wields countless huge mouthed tendrils resembling a hydra's heads and spreads the toxin that ghoulifies the city.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Rize Kamishiro's voracious, reckless hunting draws CCG investigators down on entire wards, and her total indifference to the danger this creates for others, such as her swelling appetite getting her foster father Shachi captured, breeds resentment among the ghouls around her.
For most of the story Rize Kamishiro treats Ken Kaneki only as prey, but in her final moments fused into the entity Dragon, as Kaneki kills her to stop its rampage, she tells him she had always been watching over him, hinting at a deeper attachment.
Rize Kamishiro is an illegitimate child of CCG chairman Tsuneyoshi Washuu, bred within the Sunlit Garden, and her unusually powerful rinkaku kagune and organs, later transplanted into Ken Kaneki, make her the biological catalyst for the entire Tokyo Ghoul story.
Ken Kaneki kills Rize Kamishiro after she becomes fused into the monstrous entity Dragon, climbing to its core and ending her life through tears to stop the toxin-spreading rampage engulfing Tokyo.
After a shower of steel beams nearly kills Rize during her attack on Kaneki, Doctor Akihiro Kanou declares her beyond saving and secretly transplants her organs into Kaneki, turning him into a one-eyed ghoul while keeping her body alive for his own research.
