Overview
The Black Dobers were a notorious crew of ghouls who operated in the 20th ward about ten years before the story begins. Their trademark look combined all-black clothing with masks shaped after the Dobermann, giving the gang its name.
Role
Kaya Irimi led the group before it broke up, and she went on to join Yoshimura at Anteiku. During its run the gang killed a number of colleagues and mentors of investigator Chuu Hachikawa, leaving him badly scarred and set on their destruction. Its former members pulled their old masks back on one last time for the assault on Anteiku, where many were badly hurt or slain, and those who slipped underground were then ambushed and finished off by Kishou Arima of Squad 0. Irimi herself survived, rescued by Ken Kaneki, and later fought the CCG again in the Rushima Landing Operation before joining Goat.
