Role
Setting off the grenade releases its gas, which irritates the respiratory tract and mucous membranes of anyone who breathes it. Should a ghoul call up its Rc cells at that instant, the substance disrupts the kagune and drives it to break apart. The effect has firm limits, though. Kakuja kagune shrug it off, most likely thanks to their mutated makeup, and the gas does nothing to blunt a ghoul's heightened strength and physical power.
