Summary

Two ghoul investigators hunting a particular ghoul cross paths with Itori, who playfully lifts her skirt before Uta and Sumi kill them. Sometime afterward, Uta talks over the Doves' movements through his ward, warning how dangerous they become alongside Kishou Arima. When Renji Yomo names the investigator in question, Uta asks whether he knows the man personally, and Yomo answers that he would kill him himself if the chance arose. Yomo reveals that his motive is to avenge his dead sister, and Uta agrees to help him strike at Arima.

Once the ambush is set, the group falls on a party of investigators. Take Hirako singles Uta out, and though others warn him of the peril he faces, Hirako simply says his superior gave the order. Uta slips past each of his blows, but as he moves to counter, Arima cuts in and breaks up the fight, drawing Yomo's notice.
