Chapter 114

With Hinami waiting at home, Shuu Tsukiyama invites her out to a cafe to discuss how they might support Kaneki. Partway through the talk, Shuu excuses himself to the restroom, and in his absence Sen Takatsuki approaches Hinami, sensing that something is weighing on her. Hinami confides her struggle to be of any help to Kaneki, and Takatsuki concludes she cannot help him at all, noting that Kaneki is simply a different sort of person than she is. Before leaving, Takatsuki passes Hinami her contact details so she can reach out down the line.

At the CCG, Koutarou Amon and Akira Mado find Ruisawa looking deeply anxious. When they check on her, she tells them an informant has arrived, remarking that the person is something of a celebrity. Turning to look, the two realize the informant is Sen Takatsuki.

Tsukiyama takes Hinami to a cafe to plan how to support Kaneki. Takatsuki tells Hinami she cannot help Kaneki because he is a different kind of person, then gives her contact information. At the CCG, Ruisawa reports that a celebrated informant has arrived, and Amon and Akira recognize her as Sen Takatsuki.

Set in Volume 12, this chapter's Japanese title is 絡身, read as Karami and rendered Entanglement. It ran on February 13, 2014 in issue 2014-11 across eighteen pages. Kaneki, Juuzou, the Black Rabbit, and several others are referenced, while Kureo Mado appears in flashback.
