Summary

Seidou Takizawa reaches the gravely wounded Amon and begs him to hold on. Amon asks after Squad 1, then warns that his death would push Kaneki into becoming a killer. A rescue group arrives, but before they can call for medics, Tatara ambushes and wipes them all out. As Tatara turns on Takizawa, Amon steps between them and offers to hold the enemy off so the younger man can flee.

Takizawa spirals into panic, refuses the offer outright, and unloads a frenzy of projectiles at Tatara. Unmoved, Tatara seizes him by the throat, notes that he now carries Fei's kagune, and hurls him toward Noro, who tears off and devours one of his arms. Watching it happen, Amon throws himself at Tatara in fury and despair as the ghoul's kakugan flares to life.
