Recovering from his ordeal at the Gourmet's ghoul restaurant, Ken Kaneki settles back into life at Anteiku until a rose and a note reveal that Shuu Tsukiyama has seized an innocent woman to bait him.
Bad dreams tied to the feast Shuu Tsukiyama hosted keep disturbing Kaneki, though he rouses himself safe inside Anteiku. Hinami Fueguchi has taken in a stray bird, planning to mind it until an owner appears, and the group settles on the name Hetare for their new pet.
Renji Yomo cautions the young ghoul that visiting the restaurant was a mistake and that Itori's words deserve little trust. Still shaken by the memory of ghouls cheering while wounded humans bled, Kaneki listens as Yoshimura frames a ghoul's hunger as no different from people eating meat or fish.
When Touka Kirishima reports that someone is waiting below, Kaneki fears Tsukiyama has come for him, yet the caller turns out to be Kimi Nishino, worried that Nishiki Nishio's injuries refuse to close. He pledges to reach out to a contact who can help. Kimi never makes it home, however, as Tsukiyama intercepts her and asks only for a brief bit of cooperation.
A rose resting on a letter appears on the cafe patio, and Kaneki grasps that Tsukiyama now holds Kimi as leverage against him. Hetare the bird joins Anteiku, and Yoshimura offers his view on how ghouls truly regard killing humans.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
