Summary
Roughly half a year after the raid on the 11th Ward's Aogiri Tree base, Yoshitoki Washuu presides over a promotion ceremony, honoring the officers who have risen in rank, among them Koutarou Amon and Juuzou Suzuya. The CCG confirms that the ghouls who stormed Cochlea reached its third underground tier, where the SS-rated prisoners are held. Yoshitoki ends the ceremony by reading the names of the investigators lost in the raid.
At the reception afterward, Yukinori Shinohara talks over his and Iwao Kuroiwa's recuperation and recalls how Kureo Mado once campaigned for Amon's advancement, then tells Amon a new partner is on the way.
