:re Chapter 29

Watching Big Madam climb the walls with Urie trapped in her jaws, Mutsuki is beaten back by her Scrappers before Urie forces the ghoul's mouth open and breaks free. His kagune erupts to an enormous size as he spirals into a breakdown, cutting down the Scrappers and slashing Big Madam's bikaku, though her raw power soon overwhelms him.

Mutsuki crawls to the raving Urie, whose earlier arrogance gives way to tearful confessions of fear and loneliness. In his confusion Urie runs his kagune through Mutsuki's stomach, only then noticing him, yet Mutsuki responds with comfort and empathy and manifests his own kagune for the first time. Catching a scent of blood, Urie grasps a hidden secret about his teammate and quietly leans against him.

When Big Madam threatens to seize them both, the Suzuya Squad bursts in, and Juuzou faces the ghoul who raised him for the first time in many years. With the monitor room reclaimed and Saiko's data exposing the hidden ghouls, the CCG seizes control, though Sasaki's broadcast screams sap morale. In the Grand Hall the blinded Sasaki refuses to vanish, and as Takizawa moves to devour him, Hinami strikes from nowhere to rescue him.

Urie's kagune balloons during his mental collapse, and he accidentally impales Mutsuki, awakening Mutsuki's own kagune. Urie uncovers a secret his teammate has kept hidden. The Suzuya Squad arrives to confront Big Madam, bringing the area under CCG control. Hinami saves the blinded Sasaki from Takizawa's jaws.

The chapter carries the Japanese title 栖求, read as Sukyu and localized as Rescue. It spans eighteen pages of the third volume and first appeared in issue 2015-25 on May 21, 2015.
