Summary
Pushing out of Cochlea, Touka halts the group when investigators Kiyoko Aura and Mougan Tanakamaru block their path. Mougan opens up on the ghouls with Higher Mind, and Hinami shields everyone with her kagune, taking the blast but suffering injury; Mougan remarks on how fearsome her kagune must be to absorb it. Furious over Hinami's wounds, Ayato charges Mougan, only for Kiyoko to back her ally by firing her quinque, Zebizu. Missing the weapon's tracking capability, Ayato is struck by its missiles and hurt.
