Brina Palencia

Palencia voices Touka Kirishima, a seventeen-year-old ghoul who waits tables at the coffee shop Anteiku while hiding her true nature from the human world around her. Touka becomes Ken Kaneki's reluctant guide into ghoul society and his sparring partner as he learns to survive, carrying both a guarded toughness and real vulnerability from losing her father to the CCG at a young age. Palencia's performance anchors the character through the loss and growth that follow her across the series, from wary teenager to a fighter capable of standing toe to toe with powerful ghouls like Shu Tsukiyama.

Palencia has voiced an enormous range of anime characters for English-speaking audiences. Her list of English dub credits includes the reindeer doctor Tony Tony Chopper on One Piece, Ciel Phantomhive for Black Butler, and the water mage Juvia Lockser on Fairy Tail; she also lends her voice to Holo in Spice and Wolf and to Isuzu Soma in Fruits Basket, plus Minoru Mineta in My Hero Academia and Sakura Minamoto in Zombie Land Saga. Outside the booth she plays Mad Moxxi across the Borderlands games and appeared on screen in the CW series Star-Crossed as well as in The Walking Dead and Castle.
