A youth from the same settlement as Thorfinn, Magni is one of several restless village boys hungry to earn a warrior's name. He sails off under Thors, never guessing that the commander intends to steer the recruits home long before any English shore comes into view.
A lone black spot marks the very top of Magni's scalp, interrupting hair that is otherwise brown. For battle he pulls on the region's standard warrior kit, chainmail layered under leather armor.
Drive and ambition define him no less than they define the other boys his age; what Magni wants is to be seen as a skilled, worthy fighter. He also shares the crush so common among the settlement's young men, a soft spot for Ylva.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Magni marches out among the recruits who follow Thors toward war, none of them aware of their leader's real intention: to hand the boys over to Leif and turn them around well short of English soil. That hidden mercy, together with the price Thors ultimately pays with his own life, is what carries Magni safely through the ambush sprung by Askeladd's band.
Magni is a young man from the same village as Thorfinn who joins Thors's band of recruits, hoping to earn a warrior's reputation in England.
Magni has brown hair with a single black spot at the top of his scalp, and for battle he wears the settlement's standard chainmail layered under leather armor.
Like several of the other village boys, Magni carries a crush on Ylva.
Magni survives because Thors secretly planned to hand the young recruits over to Leif and send them home before reaching England, a plan sealed by Thors's own death during the ambush.
Magni, like the other boys his age, is driven by ambition and wants to be recognized as a skilled, worthy fighter.
