The Sylph Cloak, sometimes named the Wind Cloak, is one of the charmed items Flora and Schierke supply to Guts' group before the clash with the trolls at Enoch Village. Serpico is the one who wears it.
To an ordinary eye it looks like a plain green hood with four tassels along its lower hem, but anyone open to the Astral World can spot the tiny wind spirits, the Sylph, nestled in the weave and lending it their power. The Sylph are the ancient wind elementals from which the Pisky line of elves descends, and their presence gives the wearer remarkable lightness, letting him spring almost weightlessly and settle back to earth as if drifting.
Serpico, already a quick and precise swordsman, leans on the cloak to slip past attacks and startle foes with the height of his jumps. He masters it well ahead of the rest of the party learning their own gifts, matched in that only by Guts and the Berserker Armor.
