أتسو أتسو نو مي

Showing up only within the anime, this Paramecia ability is held by Don Accino, who heads the Accino Family. It saturates its owner with heat he can command, which is how he came by the nickname of the 10,000 Degree Human. The title takes the Japanese term for hot, while the Funimation dub sells it under the name Hot-Hot Fruit. Accino first shows the power sprawled almost naked across a block of ice on frozen Hyokaido, entirely at ease in spite of the chill surrounding him.

Its holder gives off fierce warmth that keeps steam pouring from the skin, dissolves anything it makes contact with, and can sheathe the body in a blistering barrier against strikes. Since Accino governs his own temperature, he survives conditions that would finish anyone else, brushing aside both an icebound island and total immersion in molten rock, a feat the Mera Mera no Mi itself cannot manage. What matters most is that the heat rides on emotion: a settled user stays fairly harmless, yet fury drives the temperature to melting extremes and can even wake sleeping volcanoes in the area. Through Netsuryo Up he intentionally climbs that output across stages of 3,000, 5,500, and a summit of 10,000 degrees, his skin flushing redder with each rise. Among his other named moves are the steam whirlwind Atsu Gesho, the diving Steam Iron, hurled fireballs known as Atsuyaki Tamago, and a lava-surfing finale titled Atsu Atsu no Net Surfing. The ordinary Devil Fruit vulnerabilities still hold.

The lone bearer of the fruit is Don Accino. He puts it to work in two ways, casually keeping his Lovely Land ship toasty against the cold outside so he can wander around in barely a loincloth, and violently during his fight against Luffy. In name and concept the power runs close to another fruit, the Netsu Netsu no Mi, and it belongs to a group of other non-canon heat fruits, a set that also takes in the Bana Bana no Mi, plus the Gutsu Gutsu no Mi as well as the Kachi Kachi no Mi. As with the Doku Doku no Mi, hitting the user head-on tends to rebound on the attacker.
