History
Free Hugger surfaces alongside a wave of Monster Association creatures that strike several cities at once, brandishing its sign to draw victims close. In the Super Fight Arc it runs into Puri-Puri Prisoner and manages to wound him, forcing the S-Class hero to pull back and rethink his approach. Its chief weapon is its needle-covered body, dangerous enough that the spikes pierced Puri-Puri Prisoner even though ordinary blades cannot cut his skin. Undeterred, the hero resolves to win with love, wrapping the monster in a crushing embrace that squeezes the life out of it. Saitama later jogs past the mangled remains.
