Zakos is a martial artist and practitioner of the Head First Rushing Style who has entered the Super Fight tournament seven times without ever taking a title. Brash toward anyone he thinks disrespects the craft, he hoped a win would let him propose to his girlfriend.
Long blond hair, slicked back above a pronounced widow's peak, tops Zakos. His green eyes sit under bold brows that point outward, and he wears a red-embroidered pink uniform of the Chinese martial-arts tradition, a white sash wrapped around his torso, and burgundy-tinted sunglasses.
He treats martial arts with grave seriousness and turns rude toward anyone he judges to take it lightly. A softer side shows in his romantic ambitions, since he entered the tournament partly to win the standing to propose to his girlfriend.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Competing at the C-City stadium for the seventh straight time, Zakos crossed paths with Saitama, who was disguised as Charanko. He needled the newcomer, mocked the absent judge Bang, and boasted he would pummel his way toward Bakuzan, only for Saitama to eliminate him with a single slap and cost him his shot at proposing; the announcer then noted his girlfriend never even arrived. Recovering on the sidelines, Zakos could make no sense of Saitama's dominance and marveled at Suiryu's speed during their bout. When Gouketsu and the Three Crows crashed the closing ceremony and offered the fighters monsterhood or death, a terrified Zakos watched some accept before the crows knocked him out along with the rest. He later recuperated in a hospital and geared up to help against the Monster Association, though Suiryu talked him into staying behind. His name derives from zako, meaning small fry, and Murata has named him his favorite Super Fight character.
