The seventy-third chapter, Resistance of the Strong, has a battered Suiryu keep swinging at the far stronger Gouketsu, who toys with and injures him. Sneck and Lightning Max rescue Suiryu and help down the Three Crows, but a transformed Bakuzan, who has eaten Monster Cells, cuts off his escape and beats him down as his last hopes collapse.
Still conscious, Suiryu lands several strikes on Gouketsu, none of which do any harm. The moment he notices the other fighters have already fallen to the Three Crows, his focus slips and Gouketsu hits and stomps him. Even so, Suiryu wrenches free, springs upward, and attempts his Void Shivering Tiger Fist, only to be hopelessly outclassed as Gouketsu begins toying with him and inflicts serious wounds.
Gouketsu commands the Three Crows to finish Suiryu, who is too hurt to resist. Spotting Bakuzan nearby, Suiryu begs for help, but Bakuzan turns him down and instead gulps down a handful of Monster Cells, which overpower him and leave him crumpled and unresponsive. Resigned to dying, Suiryu braces himself, only for Sneck and Lightning Max to intervene as the Crows strike. Fighting alongside the two heroes, Suiryu helps bring the Three Crows down. He then urges the pair to run with him, but they choose to hold their ground and buy him time to flee. The heroes are swiftly overwhelmed, and the now-transformed Bakuzan catches Suiryu mid-escape, hurling him back to the ground. Suiryu drags himself up one last time before Bakuzan sets on him with a merciless beating.
Suiryu's attacks fail against Gouketsu, who toys with and injures him. Bakuzan refuses to help and eats Monster Cells, collapsing. Sneck and Lightning Max rescue Suiryu, and together they defeat the Three Crows. The heroes stay behind to cover Suiryu's escape, but a transformed Bakuzan intercepts and beats him down.

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
