Sakiko

A young child with dark hair and violet eyes, Sakiko is first seen wrapped in a purple cloak topped by a white hood. By the episode's close she has traded it for a red one-piece swimsuit tied with a yellow ribbon.

Quiet and solitary, Sakiko takes little joy in the psychic drills her father demands. She calls herself a loner and keeps her distance, watching others from afar rather than joining in, and beneath her obedience simmers resentment at being denied an ordinary childhood.

Sakiko lives at Pension Adams with her domineering father, who is set on shaping her into a powerful psychic and drills her without regard for her wishes, quietly using the hotel's guests to test her. The staff never grasp what she can do. Usagi, Rei, Luna, and Ami first encounter her near the hotel as she gathers flowers; her sudden appearance amid a lightning storm startles Usagi, and she guides the group inside as rain sets in. Her father, cold toward the visitors, keeps her from mingling, and over dinner he hypnotizes her into conjuring a ghost that terrifies the guests.

The next day she watches the girls on the beach, and a kind word from Ami draws her out before her father pulls her away with a warning about strangers. Hypnotized once more, she summons the ghost again, but this time it feeds on her buried anger and rounds on her father along with everyone else. The transformed Senshi cannot subdue it, and even after Ami wakes her the apparition rages on. Sakiko finally shields her father with a powerful psychic burst that destroys it. He apologizes to her and the Guardians, and the following day she plays freely on the beach with them.
