U-Ikasaman

Character

U-Ikasaman is a freak Daimon that comes to life by accident after Mimete crams the Daimon oven full of games. Instead of chasing a Pure Heart, this card-dealing cheat twists the Tomoe household into a warped realm and traps the Sailor Guardians in a run of fixed games where their freedom is the prize.

Appearance

Her design borrows from the face cards of a playing deck, and her features, especially her face, evoke the formal pose of a Queen. This royal, suit-inspired look fits her role as a dealer and master of games. The name Ikasaman traces to a term spanning trickery, fraud, deception, counterfeiting, and cheating, every shade of which describes how she behaves.

Abilities

Her defining power is mastery over the dimensional rift she opens, a distorted pocket she can stretch and reshape, and she threatens to hurl the Guardians into a separate dimension should they refuse her games. Equally dangerous is her cheating, since she twists the rules of each match so her opponents cannot win, and every loser gets sealed away inside a glass playing card. She also declares herself a pacifist and turns down any straight fight, choosing to beat her foes through rigged contests instead.

History

Doubting Professor Tomoe's plan to build the ultimate Daimon, Mimete coaxes him out of the house, then packs the oven with every game she can find in hopes of a stronger creation. The oven overloads instead, producing U-Ikasaman, whose arrival bends the Tomoe home into a warped dimension, leaving Chibiusa and Hotaru caught inside.

Left alone, the rift would consume the whole house and everyone in it. The Sailor Guardians teleport in, lose their way, and eventually face the Daimon, who offers freedom to anyone who can beat her at a game and refuses to fight on grounds of being a pacifist. Every match is rigged: she alters the roulette number to snare Sailor Jupiter, topples Sailor Mars at Jenga using a hidden string, and detonates a chess piece to defeat Sailor Mercury, while a rigged arcade race throws Sailor Venus and Sailor Moon into a collision. Each defeated warrior is locked inside a glass card.

The deadlock breaks when Hotaru and Chibiusa sit down for a round she cannot fix; underrating Chibiusa, she loses. She then goads Hotaru into Old Maid, staking everything on the Ace of Hearts against the Joker, but the encouraged girl blocks out the Daimon's taunts and draws the Ace. Refusing to honor the deal, U-Ikasaman keeps everyone captive. Out of the fainted Hotaru's sight, Chibiusa becomes Sailor Chibi Moon and looses Pink Sugar Heart Attack; the shot goes wide yet frees Sailor Moon, who rises to her Super form and ends U-Ikasaman with a stroke of Rainbow Moon Heartache, collapsing the rift and saving the house.
