Kim Campbell

A white headband crosses Kim's forehead, holding back the long blonde hair she gathers into a ponytail while a single loose strand falls beside her right cheek. She stands at an unremarkable height for a teenager. On the court she competes in a pale pink dress belted at the waist, matched with white wristbands, drop earrings shaped like tennis balls, and a gold necklace carrying the same motif. A small black pack sits against the back of her waist, connected by a cord to the modified racket it apparently powers.

Years of training have not made Kim love tennis. She treats the sport as a chore, and her real motivation is the reward on offer: she wants to crush her opponents mainly to collect the new yacht her father dangled as a prize. After the finals loss she dismisses her brother's competitive fire as embarrassing and declares herself finished with tennis altogether, showing how little the game ever meant to her beyond her father's gifts.

A high school student, Kim has swung a racket since early childhood alongside her twin brother Carrol, and the pair claimed back-to-back titles in the Campbelldon, the secret tournament their father Cavi runs. In the arc, the siblings sweep every round, at times aided by Cavi's interference, and meet Loid Forger and Fiona Frost, disguised as the Foney couple, in the final. Told they no longer need to keep matches looking close, the twins unveil gadget rackets: Carrol's is jet-powered, while a latch on Kim's lets it extend like a whip to reach otherwise impossible serves. The tricks take the first set.

The Foneys adapt, and the Campbells escalate through rigged net heights, artificial wind, stink spray, and finally a hidden sniper and a court interference squad. Loid absorbs a bullet meant for Fiona, deflects another into Carrol's stomach, and closes out the championship by slamming the final point between Carrol's legs. While Loid's encouragement moves her brother to keep improving, Kim walks away from the sport unmoved. She is left-handed, the mirror of her right-handed twin.
