Kunudon

Kunudon takes the form of a walking sawtooth acorn colored a deep caramel, with limbs of plain white. A ring of pale brown fur wraps the middle of his rounded body, and the shell below it shades to a softer caramel tone. His footwear resembles brown cloth topped by light green buds, each tipped with a dark green point. His features are drawn very plainly, though they sharpen into far greater detail whenever a strong feeling takes hold of him.

On the surface Kunudon is gentle and soft-spoken, yet he carries the same open contempt for Class 3-E that runs through the rest of the school. His disdain leaks out in passive-aggressive jabs, and he loves to trot out the outcast class's earlier stumbles as a cautionary tale for the higher grades in his announcement clips. His composure cracks entirely when Class 3-E is granted a trip to Okinawa, a slight that pushes the mascot into cursing on camera before the opening even rolls.

Kunudon serves the main campus as its official mascot, chiefly by hosting the 'Tell Us, Kunudon!' segments that publicize occasions like the Autumn School Festival. Following the second round of examinations he loses his post and is shunted down to Class 3-E, yet he clings to his mascot identity rather than reinventing himself as an assassin. Notably, he is a genuinely sentient creature rather than a person in a suit, he can glide along on his feet, and he picks up a drinking habit once the firing leaves him out of work.
