Dimo Reeves is the boss of the Reeves Company, the trading operation that anchors commerce in Trost District. Blackmailed by the government into kidnapping Eren and Historia, he flips to the Survey Corps' side in exchange for his company's survival, a bargain that ends with Kenny Ackerman cutting his throat.
Heavyset and standing only 162 centimeters, Reeves carries the polished look of a prosperous trader. The crown of his head is bald, black hair clinging to the sides above a sparse dark mustache and beard, with brown eyes set in bright skin. His usual outfit pairs a pink button-up and gray vest with a brown leather jacket, reddish dress trousers, and brown shoes.
Trost's evacuation shows Reeves at his worst. With his loaded cart wedged in the gate, he barks at fleeing citizens to push it through, declaring the cargo worth more than their lives, and only Mikasa Ackerman's death threat moves him.
The portrait deepens once Levi corners him atop Wall Rose. Reeves proves candid and sharper than his bluster suggests, revealing that the government coerced him into the kidnapping and admitting he never fancied the Military Police's odds against seasoned Titan killers. Profit still rules his thinking, but he bargains honestly, holds up his end of the deal, and genuinely cares for the livelihoods of his employees and his town.
When the Titans pour into Trost, Reeves blocks the sole escape route with a cart stuffed with merchandise, stalling the evacuation until Mikasa Ackerman threatens his life and he orders the cart hauled aside.
Years later his men snatch Eren Yeager and Historia Reiss on the government's orders, but Squad Levi ambushes the crew at the warehouse where the captives wait. Rather than punish him, Levi takes Reeves up onto Wall Rose for a frank talk. Reeves lays out the leverage being used against him: refuse the Interior Police and the state confiscates the company, his workers end up on the street, and his own life is forfeit. Levi counters with a better offer. The Reeves Company will side with the Survey Corps, proceed with the handover so the Corps can trace the captives to the true king, and grant the Corps first access to luxury goods, all in exchange for protection.
Reeves delivers immediately, baiting Djel Sannes and Ralph with a false tip about Eren's location so that Levi and Hange can seize them for interrogation, and he sits in on the planning for Erwin's move against the crown alongside his son Flegel. On the day of the staged handover he slips small blades to Eren and Historia so Eren can transform in an emergency. The Interior squad arrives ahead of schedule, and its captain, Kenny Ackerman, walks Reeves outside, mentions having trained Levi, and slits his throat. The body is dumped in Trost and the murder pinned on the Survey Corps, while Erwin promises the grieving widow and daughter that Reeves will be avenged.
