Peering Titan

Before his transformation, this Restorationist stood at an unremarkable height with an ordinary build. Shaggy brown hair topped a perpetually strained face; his brow and eyes stayed narrowed and tense, and his teeth tended to show even at rest. He dressed in a white button-up shirt with black pants and shoes, sometimes adding a dark blazer.

His Titan body measures only three to four meters yet carries an oversized head framed by messy brown hair falling to the shoulders. The frame is fairly toned, the expression fixed in anger, and the face preserves so much of his human features that the resemblance is unmistakable.

Little survives of the man's individual character beyond his politics. He committed himself to the Eldian Restorationists, a movement that, after uncovering the Great Titan War and the truth of Eldia's past, resolved to reclaim the First King's power and place it with Dina Fritz, the royal family's last free descendant. As a Pure Titan he retains nothing of that conviction, attacking any human within reach, though his frozen scowl gives the creature a permanently furious cast.

He belonged to the Restorationists before Grisha Yeager ever joined the group. When Marley began recruiting Eldian children as Warriors, Grisha volunteered his son Zeke as a mole, and two years later Zeke betrayed the entire organization. The captured Restorationists were shipped to Paradis Island and sentenced to wander as mindless Titans. Gross transformed this man last, planning to feed Grisha to the fresh Titan, but a comrade shoved Gross off the Wall first, and the Peering Titan ate the officer instead of his intended victim.

Years afterward, amid the fighting in Trost District, the Titan snags Mina Carolina's grapple wire with its arm, sends her crashing to the ground, and devours her before she can rise. It later slips into the supply depot of the military headquarters with several other Titans. When Armin Arlert's plan to clear the depot unfolds, Sasha Blouse's strike on it fails to hit the nape, and the Titan closes in on her until Mikasa Ackerman cuts it down.
