A pigtailed graduate of the 104th Training Corps, Mina Carolina dreams of following Eren Yeager into the Survey Corps but never gets the chance. Assigned to Trost's middle guard, she is torn from the air by a Titan's grip on her wire and becomes one of the first casualties of Squad 34.
Loose pigtails define Mina's look, her thick black hair split down the center and hanging past her shoulders on either side. She stands noticeably below her fellow trainees, shorter even than Historia Reiss, with a slight build to match her 143 centimeters. Duty puts her in regulation trainee gear; her off hours favor dark pants beneath a long-sleeved blouse.
Warmth comes naturally to Mina. She happily takes a share of the meat Sasha Blouse lifts from the officers' private stores, trusting the others' talk that livestock will graze again once humanity's land is reclaimed. Good humor coexists with genuine nerve in her; even after watching an abnormal Titan swallow Thomas Wagner, she moves to fight alongside Eren Yeager rather than flee.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
On her opening night with the 104th Training Corps, Mina watches with the other recruits as Sasha Blouse runs punishment laps, then sits through a dinner where the trainees pepper Eren Yeager with questions about the fall of Shiganshina. Years later, after graduation, she scrubs cannons atop Wall Rose with her classmates and hints that Eren's speech has her leaning toward the Survey Corps. Moments after accepting Sasha's stolen meat, she witnesses the Colossus Titan's sudden return.
The blast of steam it releases knocks Mina and the others off the Wall. Eren shouts for an attack, but fear roots her in place until the giant vanishes. For the defense of Trost she joins the middle guard as part of Squad 34 beside Eren, Armin Arlert, Thomas Wagner, Nac Tias, and Mylius Zeramuski, echoing Eren's ambitions and confirming she will enlist with the Survey Corps too.
The squad's morale collapses in seconds. An abnormal Titan swallows Thomas whole, a second Titan cripples Eren when he charges it, and the rest are left reeling. Mina rallies to engage an approaching Titan, but mid-maneuver another one seizes her wire and flings her into a wall. Stunned, she cannot recover before she is eaten. Armin later breaks the news to the remaining trainees, telling them she fell bravely doing her duty. Long afterward, beneath the Reiss Chapel, Eren names Mina among the people whose deaths trace back to his father stealing the Founding Titan's power. Of all Squad 34's dead, she is the only one whose killer Eren's Titan never destroys.
