When the King of Midland tasks the Band of the Falcon with retaking the stronghold, the order rides out to meet them, only for their first wave to be shattered by Guts' unit.
After reforming, they are thrown off by the mercenaries' feigned retreat, and before they can adjust, Gennon overrides the chain of command, seizing control of the army over Boscogn's objections and ordering a pursuit. Boscogn meets his end against Guts, who cuts off his head. With their leader dead and Doldrey lost, the surviving knights break and flee the battlefield.
