Appearance

Aisslinger long ago cast off his humanoid shape to grow stronger, leaving him with four arms whose fingers extend to fire bolts of energy. What remains of his Hollow mask forms a beak covering most of his face, sparing only its upper left corner, and three dark blue diamonds sit above his single visible yellow eye as his estigma. He appears to have no legs at all, yet his Sonído is quick enough to keep pace with the Hirenkyaku of Uryū Ishida.

Personality

Cold and unfeeling by nature, he bristles at any hint that he lacks intelligence, even while freely branding his partner stupid. For all that, he shows a flicker of concern for Demoura, shouting a warning an instant before Yasutora Sado cracked his mask. He is also wholly unaware that Quincy exist. A calculating sort, he seeds traps to gauge a foe's build, speed, and strength before committing to a fight.

History

After Grand Fisher fled a beating from Ichigo Kurosaki back to Hueco Mundo, it was Aisslinger who patched him up and reshaped him into an imperfect Arrancar. Posted with Demoura to guard the underground path into Las Noches, he intercepts Ichigo's group at the threshold and proves too fast for Yasutora Sado to track. When Sado and Uryū Ishida swap opponents, Aisslinger resolves to finish things with Uña Tirotear, a volley of one hundred and eight energy shots, only to be stunned when Uryū answers with the roughly twelve hundred arrows of his Ginrei Kojaku.

Left mortally wounded, he is told to warn Sōsuke Aizen that it is the Quincy, not the Shinigami, who ought to be feared. Aisslinger merely laughs, musing that Aizen fears nothing and that this is precisely why beings born of fear like himself gather around him. As he and Demoura fall, the chamber, designed to collapse the moment its guardians are beaten, caves in and hurls the intruders out onto the sands of Hueco Mundo.
