CharacterChain is a simple but handy Zanpakutō trick tied to Ichigo Kurosaki's Zangetsu. With a small motion, the wielder can summon either of the paired Shikai blades back to hand, as though yanking it in along an unseen tether.
Overview
Chain is a technique linked to Zangetsu, the Zanpakutō of Ichigo Kurosaki. It is also available to Zangetsu's inner spirit, who can call on it once he has seized full control of Ichigo's body.
Mechanics
Using the ability, Ichigo can draw either of the twin blades of his Shikai straight back into his grip with nothing more than a flick of the hand, the weapon flying to him as if reeled in by an invisible line. The Zanpakutō spirit displays the very same recall while wielding their Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu.
