History
During a soccer game, Kazuya frets over Karin's off-form play after a wild kick strikes Heita, then sides with Ryohei in wanting to leave her alone, only for the boys to chase her at Kei's urging and stumble into Sado's hidden fight with a Hollow, from which Karin shoves them to safety. Later the group is bumped off their reserved field by older boys and agrees to a match. Kazuya begs Karin not to bring in the gruff Toshiro Hitsugaya, but once Hitsugaya proves himself, the boys, Kazuya included, invite him to train. When the outmatched team is losing and Karin is hurt, Hitsugaya turns up to win the game before swiftly dispatching a Hollow that scatters them.
