Ken is an ordinary young resident of Karakura Town and the boyfriend of Haruko. An anime-only face, he is a food-loving homebody whose stubborn doubt about the spirit world briefly costs him the woman who cooks his meals.
Ken is a heavyset young man with cropped black hair and small, dark eyes. His face is round in the cheeks, his ears stick out, and he keeps to casual clothes, usually a yellow polo shirt and blue jeans.
A devoted glutton, Ken adores the dishes Haruko prepares for him. He is also unsupportive, brushing off her strange encounters and walking out on her, though he soon regrets it and grows anxious once she is gone.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
One evening Haruko cooks for Ken while he plays video games, then mentions watching a figure in a black kimono sail overhead, actually Ichigo Kurosaki out on Shinigami duty. Rattled that she keeps speaking of people no one else can see, Ken calls off the relationship, but guilt hits the moment she leaves and he sets out to find her.
On the street he blunders into the Tapeworm Hollow, freshly booted down a slope by Kon; the creature hijacks his body and uses it to lure Haruko, offering a false apology so she will step close enough to be possessed herself. Once Kon puts down the Hollow, Ken tries to make amends, only for Haruko to rebuff him in favor of Ichigo. Rukia then erases their memories, and the pair, recalling nothing, simply head home as if the whole ordeal never took place.
